Jus-Rol Perfect Pastry Panel
Carol was recently asked to take part in the Jus-Rol Perfect Pastry Panel, in conjuction with Jus-Rol and the Morning Advertiser. As part of this, five chef's were asked to come up with some new recipes using Jus-Rol's new professional pastry products which include; Twisted Corner Baskets, Shortcrust Pastry Oval and Shortcrust Flan Case. Spinach, Feta and Pine Nut Pie
Spinach, feta cheese, egg and red pepper shortcrust pie with a hint of spice topped with pine nuts and served with a piquant red pepper sauce.
Garlic Mushroom and Mascarpone Twisted Corner Basket
Portobello mushrooms sauteed in olive oil, garlic butter, basil and pepper, topped with mascarpone and baked in the basket. Delicious served as a starter or lunch dish with salad.
